The high hoe operator arrived early this
morning to start digging out the foundations
of the two houses.
Over an hour later he has made quite a
bit of headway.
Hope he doesn't fall into the hole!
Just the west wall to go, plus the basement
stairs, the porches and underneath the
kitchen. Then over to the little house to do
the same....
The hoe operator moved over to the little house sometime after 3:00 this afternoon. Not sure if he will get done today or not. Dan hopes to have him take down that half-dead box elder tree by the garage, too. He has been pushing the debris over the hill on Ed Hebblewhite's dump area with the skidder, as it is hauled over in the dump truck. Dan missed his dinner because Mr. Hawke didn't take a lunch break, but worked straight through. I took him something around 3:00 when it dawned on me he hadn't had anything since breakfast. I had gotten busy and lost track of time. He hadn't faded away yet, but was thirsty because he hadn't taken anything with him. He did have his phone, though...
