Some July Photos.....

Sally, Sam, Boppa and Ryan(out of view) on Brainerd's Bridge.

Mama and her boys, "fishing" in the playground set.
(still not sure what to call that)

Sam, busily breaking in the sandbox! He loved it!

"There was a bee......"

"Oh, Boppa!"

Sam trying to imitate Lucy with the sprinkler!

This is how the pro (Lucy) does it!

Ryan doing the 'sprinkler dance'!

Dan measuring the corn across from our house on July 24th!

Jack (aka The Cowardly Lion) sporting his new "do", after nearly a month's growth!

Up to the month of June!

Happy 63rd Anniversary to the Folks and Happy Father's Day, too!

Debora sent me this photo of their family in Switzerland - love it!
Lucas is changing so much - love the Alps in the background!

Finally got back up to Baldwin - had been several months, with Roger laid up. Here the boys are enjoying some sprinkler time.

Sam is as fascinated with the digger as his Uncle Josh was, years earlier.

The boys were cooling Boppa off by waving branches - until they got a bit wild with them. :)

Everyone is standing back, as Sally tackles her 30th Birthday Cake.

Happy Birthday, Sally!

Sam took this picture of me with Ryan.

He did pretty well!

That's one big bean-bag chair full of Aho's!

I had made a birthday-brownie-cake for Sally's day and Sam was in charge of putting the candles on. Ryan had been helping, but when he dipped his finger in the frosting, Gatfly said 'no'.

He is still a very sensitive young man.....

Mutual-admiration-society meets again....

We hauled this couch back to our house, as Sally and Scott had an over-abundance of couches. Ryan wanted up in the pickup and proceeded to do the couch-dance.

One morning, heading out for chores, I had to return to the house for the camera. This one is a keeper - watch for it in the 2012 calendar. ;)

Races in early May

The Paper Discovery Duathlon

I ran 2 miles, Becky biked nearly 19 miles, then I ran 2 more miles.

We didn't place, but we both were happy with our times. :)

Running along the Fox River boardwalk.

Coming into the transition area, where we tagged up and I took off for the final 2 mile run. Becky did fantastic!

~

The JigSaw Walk/Run at Lake Wazeecha
Sam, Ryan, Sally and I walked/ran the entire 3.7 miles (6K) around Lake Wazeecha - we were first, after all! :)

Celebrating one mile with Mama - Ryan is doing this in style, in a running stroller borrowed from my cousin Karen. Thanks Karen!

Nearly there, and when we finished, Sam was anxious to go check out the playground! Go figure!

More pictures from May.....

Borrowed picture of Dan and Sue Wilson's grandkids -
Solomon, Atticus and Evie! Cute!

Dad and his recognition from the Boy Scouts

at Park Vista on Memorial Day.

Cousins' Cookout and Firepit at Mary's....

Victor (I think), Dad and David!

I never could keep the twins straight!

Faces: Nancy, Betty, Bruce (I think), Mary, Donna and June!

Amy, Diane, Harley, Mom, Susie, Nancy and Betty!

Freezing by the fire! Oh, and Mary's foot!

We've had some magnificent sunrises!

Hailstorm in May - we got hail, but there were tornadoes elsewhere. No damage here.

Dr. Mara B. Syring's Graduation, and more....

Dr. Mara B. Syring, along with all of the family that were able to be there for the ceremony!
Missing were Debora and her boys, but she would've been more frozen than we were!
The Syring Family, showing off Mara's sassy graduation dress! Love those red shoes - they really showed up on the stage!
Three grandsons, chillin' with Boppa and Gatfly - love how Ryan is resting his little foot on Rohan's sippy cup!
Solid Grandparenting, here!
The proud family!
And even prouder, parents!
Dan and I feel so blessed!
Ryan wanted into the back of the pickup, then didn't want to get out!
Sam explainin' something about the skid steer to me....
If only Boppa were here, he would start this bad boy up!

Trip to Arizona to escort folks back to Wisconsin

The folks enjoying playing cards out-of-doors - something they wouldn't be able to do on their return to WI!

Rohan and Uncle John, hangin' out.
I actually caught them both sitting still!

I'm supposed to eat the WHOLE thing??

Trying out his banana-eating technique with the ice cream cone.

Mom and Dad said this was his first ice cream cone!

Mike and I took pictures of each other at the same time - cool effect!

Mom and Heather enjoying an evening stroll to the park.

Heather grilling some killer-kabobs! Very tasty!!

I think they are sincere.....

Old Papa and Rohan enjoying some popcorn!

Rohan loved crawling up by Old Papa. :)

Heather and me at the summit of South Mountain. :)

Vicki, Mary (Heather's friends) and Heather taking a breather.
