Random Photos....

A full, double rainbow that I dedicated to the two new foster-daughters of my friend, Kolette.

Mom, Dad and Dan chowing down on pancakes and sausages at the June Dairy Day Breakfast on the Farm. It was held at Gene and Caroline Peterson's farm (Marina's sister).
This was our way of celebrating the Folks' 62nd Wedding Anniversary (wow!) and also Father's Day.

Mary was able to join us, as well. :)

A random child - I took the picture because the weight machine they used for the pedal-tractor pull competition was interesting - based on the one they use for the big tractors. The weights in the foreground were varied, and applied according to the child's age. There were three different size pedal tractors, again used according to the child's size. It was fun to watch them. The two fellows running the pull were professionals, and did an awesome job of egging the kids on.

The Remainder of the German Bacons' Visit (okay, so I'm pokey....)

We really did have a wonderful time with the kids home - it is always hard to say good-bye! They flew out early on Saturday morning, May 29th (see??? I AM pokey!). It was our only chance to see Josh and Debora before their second baby is born in late October/early November. We hope to be able to plan a visit to Germany over Christmas, to meet that new little one and help Thomas celebrate his third birthday. Thomas has really grown up, and it was fun to watch him follow Sam all over and imitate everything Sam did or said. :) I think Sam thought it was pretty cool to have a groupie, too. Wonder how he will take it when Ryan starts doing it.... ;)
Enjoy the photos!!
