September Events

September isn't over yet, but thought I had better get some of these photos posted. It starts with Heather's visit to WI for John's nephew's wedding and also a visit to the folks and doing the Wounded Warrior 5K with me and Cariann. I don't have pictures of that event, but there are some on Heather's blog. It was great to see her, and to run with the two of them! We all did pretty well, even though it wasn't a timed event.

That was on Sept. 11, then a week later was the Bacon Family Reunion at the Jim and Joanne Knutson Farm. The day didn't look too promising at first, but by the time we had finished eating, the sun came out to stay and it was pretty nice. The kids had a lot of fun - thanks to Tanna for all the entertaining stuff! Joanne's Secret Garden was once more a beautiful place to have the reunion. Thanks goodness Judy made bbq's that helped to warm us all up, too. ;)

Sally and her family were at our place for the weekend, but they had previous plans to go to Quarry Quest in Neenah - watch their blog for some good pictures of that adventure! Then Sally and Ryan spent Saturday night and Sunday with us while Scott and Sam went to Algoma to get in some fishing. They even caught a big one, that Sam helped to reel in!

Monday, the 20th, Mara, Mike, Rohan, Michelle, Larry and Deb were here for dinner. Also joining us were my folks and Roger and John. I didn't get any pictures of the whole group, but I know somebody got one of most of us. It was great seeing all of them, but of course we were especially tickled to see little Rohan! He has really grown, and is quite the little character.

We are expecting to have Sally and her boys and the Syring trio back this Friday and Saturday - should be lots of fun! I will try to get some good pictures!

Enjoy this beautiful Fall weather!!!
